GOALS:

  • To affirm civil society organizations (CSOs) as equal partners in ensuring open governance and transparency in managing public goods and natural resources in Natura 2000 protected sites

  • To build and increase the quality level of CSOs organizational structures

  • Strengthening the network of CSOs and increasing their capacities and knowledge in responsible management of public goods and natural resources in Novigrad and Karin Sea area

  • To establish partnerships of CSOs and local authorities in transparent management and governance of public goods and natural resources in Novigrad and Karin Sea area

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Strengthening of CSOs capacities through organization of educations, round tables and networking events

  • Sociological survey on current methodology in information transfer in management of the area

  • Establishment of cooperation between CSOs and local authorities through team building and sustainable management of public goods and natural resources in Novigrad and Karin Sea area

TARGET GROUPS:

  • Civil society organisations

  • Local authorities

TOTAL VALUE OF THE PROJECT:

  • 175.597,81 € (90% funded by the EU IPA Program for Croatia, 10% co-financed by the Croatian Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs)
