Recognize, Accept and Empower!

Duration: 01/10/2025 – 30/09/2027

Project Recognize, Accept and Empower! (Prepoznaj, prihvati i ojačaj!) aims to raise awareness of youth mental health and provide secondary school students with concrete tools for emotional resilience and psychological well-being. Through workshops on stress, anxiety, self-confidence, grief and critical thinking, participants use interactive methods to learn how to recognize early signs of difficulties, coping mechanisms, seek help, and provide support to peers and family.

The project’s main output will be a youth handbook "Recognize, Accept and Empower!", co-created by participants and experts, featuring practical advice, techniques for coping with stress, lived-experience stories, and myths and facts about mental health. In the long term, the project strengthens emotional literacy, reduces stigma, and encourages open communication about mental health.
